Dry rub recipe:
- 1 1/4 cups white sugar
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1/4 cup freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup paprika
This BBQ dry rub recipe is excellent on both pork shoulders and as a rib rub. Mix rub ingredients in a mixing bowl. Coat meat evenly and refrigerate at least 4 to 6 hours but preferably overnight. Remainder of the BBQ rub can be sealed and kept in a cool dry location for future use.
